Dr. George is a native of Dayton. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Dayton and then attended the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine.

Dr. George’s internship and residency were at Riverside Methodist Hospital and he then completed fellowships in Medical Oncology and Hematology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology, Hematology as well as Hospice and Palliative Medicine.

Dr. George joined our group in 1997. He has co-authored numerous research articles and in 2007 wrote a book chapter on lung cancer. In 2005 he received the Compassion in Medicine Award from Riverside Hospital and in 2007 was voted Best Blood Cancer Specialist in Columbus in the Docs Rate Docs 10TV/Columbus Dispatch poll.
